Heart of America Chapter, ICC
The Heart of America Chapter of the International Code Council is a group of building officials, inspectors and other interested parties who endeavor to advance good building practices by the administration and enforcement of a uniform set of codes. The protection of life, safety and health of the public, as well as the protection of property is foremost in our pursuits.

Kansas City Metro Association of Permit Technicians (KCMAPT)
KCMAPT is an ICC Chapter whose primary purpose is to provide support for permit technicians in the metro area. This support is offered through chapter meetings which incorporate training for people serving in the capacity of a permit technician.

Missouri Association of Building Officials and Inspectors (MABOI)
Missouri Association of Building Inspectors (MABI) was formed by a small group of inspectors prior to 1950. In 1952 the name was changed to include Building Officials becoming the Missouri Association of Building Officials and Inspectors (MABOI).

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large.

International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI)
IAEI, as the keystone of the electrical industry, is a membership driven, non-profit association promoting electrical safety throughout the industry by providing premier education, certification of inspectors, advocacy, partnerships and expert leadership in Electrical Codes and Standards development.

The American Association of Code Enforcement is a national nonprofit association representing the profession of code enforcement.

Johnson County Building Officials
Johnson County , Kansas and the cities within the county have enjoyed long-term growth by providing a high quality of living to their citizens. Throughout this growth, one of the Johnson County 's greatest strengths has been the ability of the construction industry, working in partnership with code enforcement agencies, to provide safe structures in which we live, work, provide education and places to purchase the goods and services necessary for our communities.

Kansas State Board of Technical Professions (KSBTP)
This agency has a brochure that was developed to inform code officials, design and construction professionals and the general public of the current requirements related to the practice of architecture and engineering in the state of Kansas. The brochure can be found at this link.

State of Missouri Emergency Management Agency (SEMA)
The State Emergency Management Agency's mission is to protect the lives and property of all Missourians when major disasters threaten public safety in any city, county or region of Missouri. SEMA responds to two types of disasters - natural and those caused by man.
